Wide-opening doors and an adjustable luggage compartment that can be adapted by pulling out a drawer at the back of the car characterize the guiding principle of this project. Following his footsteps, the multi-disciplinary design consultancy, Antrepo, has come up with this interesting experiment called Minimalist Effect in the Maximalist Market, which consists in developing conceptual packaging design for well-known supermarket products by stripping back the existing graphics in stages. Challenging assumptions and immediate associations one can make about familiar objects and everyday things, the Seattle-based product development consultancy, Carbon Design, has stylishly played with these obvious expectations in the Domino Clock project. This new and lively way to tell time is fruit of Carbon’s “Passion Projects” which are developed to fuel the creative spark.
