Twenty five years later, in 1981, he graduated at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts and obtained his diploma under the supervision of professor Henryk Tomaszewski. Eryk Lipiński’s Posters
During the Second World War, Eryk Lipiński (July 12th 1908 – September 27th 1991) was one of the artists working with the Polish resistance and, involved in production of false documents, he was arrested by the Nazis and imprisoned in the infamous Pawiak prison, in Mokotów prison and in the Auschwitz concentration camp.
Born in Kraków, he was a graduate of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts, where he studied from 1933 to 1939. Cofounder – with Zbigniew Mitzner – and chief editor for several years of the Polish satirical weekly magazine Szpilki (1935), Lipiński contributed to many other periodicals and newspapers as a caricaturist and essayist. He has also written plays and sketches for cabarets, as well as written books on related subjects. (mais…)

During the 1880’s, American military strategists made sweeping recommendations for new or upgraded littoral defense installations and weapons systems. Therefore, at the turn of the century many Coastal Artillery Corps buildings were constructed.
Eggleston Farkas Architects took the interesting challenge of turning Fort Ward, an inactive 1903 military banker, located on a hilltop on the southwest side of Bainbridge Island, Washington, into a new single family residence with lots of storage. (mais…)

Eclectic and eye-catching, the works not only unveil historical influences of Russian Constructivism and Futurism, they also manifest the open-minded character of a group that knows how to take advantage of globalization and today’s universality. Acting mainly in the field of cultural production, the Ostengruppe puts aside technical virtuosity and over-refinement, to make use of a successful interplay between experimentation/spontaneity and intelligence/repertory.
