A classic of packaging gains a whole new chance to write its own name in history in a way different manner than it had done before. The flip-top cigarette pack is one of the most celebrated and successful pieces of package design… However, it’s wide known nowadays that having one’s name associated with tobacco is badly received.
Aware of that, the british TankMagazine has launched a series of books, the TankBooks, that mimics cigarette packs in order to pay homage to this icon of design and at the same time, give it the opportunity to render good services to literature and to the mental health of people. Each exemplar of the collection displays a complete and unabridged story – with a plenty readable type size – packaged in flip-top cartons with silver foil wrapping and sealed in cellophane.
