As stated by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe – German architect widely regarded as one of the pioneering masters of Modern architecture – “less is more”. Guided by minimalism, Mies created an influential 20th century style, founded on extreme clarity and simplicity.
Following his footsteps, the multi-disciplinary design consultancy, Antrepo, has come up with this interesting experiment called Minimalist Effect in the Maximalist Market, which consists in developing conceptual packaging design for well-known supermarket products by stripping back the existing graphics in stages. What will happen if you give a designer a tool with which he or she can do whatever they like? The only condition being that they make use of the unique properties of Invercote – Iggesund’s solid bleached board. The idea behind this campaign is actually quite simple: celebrate creativity as the ability to generate innovative ideas and bring them from thought into reality. The launch of Iggesund’s Black Box project Thinking inside the box was held few days ago, November 23rd, in Paris, in the fabulous settings of the Cercle Suedois/Swedish Club in conjunction with the famous Les Places d’Or – design and luxury packaging exhibition. Spoonachos

Even Ignacio Anaya, the one who invented the original form of nachos in the Mexican city of Piedras Negras in 1943, wouldn’t have thought of something cleverer when it comes to the degustation of this true gastronomic patrimony of the so-called “Tex-Mex cuisine”.
