McVillage by UXUS

Comissioned by McDonald’s, UXUS design consultancy has conceived an inspiring children’s activity area for kids under 7 years of age, bringing the theme of “what I eat, what I do” to life. The entire project is a spatial application of graphic design as the use of images instead of words transcends those barriers associated with different geographical places and children’s ages.

The playful aesthetic stimulates imagination and represents a phase of the journey food goes through before finally arriving at the dinner table, creating a connection between kids and the education about food and cooking. (mais…)

The main idea is to ask readers to choose which of the stages they prefer. (mais…)

Ralph-Lauren-Sporting-Watch-2

Ralph Lauren Sporting Watch

Also driven by the passion for 1920’s automobiles, the American style magnate, Ralph Lauren, searched for inspiration in his most prized vintage vehicle, the 1938 Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic, to conceive his new Sporting Watch, which is named after him.

The new Ralph Lauren Sporting Watch is a stylish fusion of fashion and motorsport: the elm burr wood frame is the same fine veneer found in that beautiful Bugatti’s instrument panel. Within, a set of hands rotate around a matte black galvanic dial, where Arabic numerals legibly display the time. (mais…)
